EU e-Invoice Hub helps merchants generate and deliver compliant invoices. We collect the minimum data needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
What we collect
- Shop and order identifiers needed to create invoices.
- Invoice details required by tax authorities (names, addresses, VAT IDs, line items).
- Invoice metadata and delivery status.
- Security and reliability logs without full payloads.
How we use data
- Generate compliant invoice documents.
- Deliver invoices to Peppol or local tax authorities.
- Provide audit trails and support troubleshooting.
Data storage
Invoice artifacts are stored in region-scoped object storage. Metadata is stored in regional databases to support routing and audit needs.
Data retention
Invoice artifacts and submission records are retained for up to 10 years to meet regulatory requirements. Operational logs are retained for shorter windows (typically 30 days) and purged automatically. Merchants can request deletion where lawful.
Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest.
- Access is limited to authorized staff and logged.
- Secrets are encrypted and never written to logs.
Data sharing
We only share data with the delivery networks required to submit invoices, such as Peppol or local tax authorities. We do not sell personal data.
